Serafim A. Simao, 84, passed on November 15th. He was the husband of Ana (Tomas) Simao. Serafim immigrated from Prados, Portugal to Cumberland, RI. Serafim was the son of Ana and Jose Simao. He retired from Wardwell Braiding Inc. He loved to play harmonica, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and also enjoyed fishing. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Ana Costa, Casimiro Simao, Manuel Simao, Helena Mobrice, Filomena Williams and Daniel Simao, brother of Anibal, Antonio, Andre and Maria Audette Simao, seven grandchildren, Jason Simao, Alicia Coelho, Jenny Branco, Zachary Mobrice, Tyler Mobrice, Aliyah Williams and Katarina Williams,
four great grandchildren, Logan Coelho, Landon Coelho, Lucas Banco and Kasen Simao.
His funeral will be held Monday, November 19th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland at 10am, Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Sunday from 2pm until 5pm. keefefuneralhome@yahoo.com.
